Logan's Room - A Work in Progress

Some fun pictures from Logan's room - we still have things to do so I haven't really got a "complete" picture...

Grandma Dodd and Kana (Marc's mom) are making sure Logan has all his Gator gear for the fall. He even has his own Gator with his name embroidered on the bandanna!

Logan's dresser/changing table. We just put up the shelves and need to add some pictures when they come in.

The reading corner is waiting on the chair! To arrive soon, hopefully before Logan does. :)

Books, books, and more books!

Before Marc started work I lined up all these things to be put together. It was so funny as he would finish one and then see that there was something else to work on lined up behind it. But we think we have everything ready - Everything works and we have all the batteries we need.

Lost and Found

During these last few weeks I seem to have lost a few things:

1) One bellybutton
2) Two ankles
3) Three hours of sleep each night as I get up to visit the bathroom

But alas! I have found a few "treasures" too:

1) New marks on my face which Marc calls melasma...
2) A new love for wearing men's undershirts (they get so much softer than my clothes!
3) A passion for Tums
4) Cravings for Publix veggie subs - and I can eat a WHOLE now...probably why I need the Tums. :)

My friend Cicely took some professional pictures of me a few weeks ago, so I will try to put some of those up when she gets me them.

Baby Boy 3D/4D Ultrasound Take #1

We attempted to get some good shots of baby today and he sort-of cooperated! We will try again in two weeks to see if he will face us a little more. I'm also going to scan a baby picture of Marc and myself to see who he most resembles. Any thoughts so far?

My Husband...The Dermatologist

I'm happy to report that Marc FINISHED his Dermatology Residency!!! I wondered if the days of residency would ever end - since we began dating he has been in some sort of residency program. I couldn't be prouder of how hard he has worked these past years...and we are so happy that this program brought us to Houston! What an amazing three years. I told someone earlier today that we feel a little more like "grown ups" since he is done. Moving, buying a house, having a baby. What a crazy time. Stay tuned for more Inglese adventures! Hope everyone is well.

Summer is Here!

Where to start! I can't believe it's been so long since I have been able to post...but so much has been going on! We have sold our house here in Houston, shipped our stuff (via Marc) to Tallahassee, moved in temporarily with friends, and even gone under contract on a home in Tallahassee! What busyness. Marc officially has two more days of work and then he is officially DONE! Amongst all the tasks associated with our transition back to Florida, and despite the swine flu scare, we managed to get away for a few days and traveled to Mexico (Riviera Maya) for my 30th birthday. You can see where Marc spent most of his time - the swim-up pool bar. Refreshing!

Baby boy is doing wonderful - passing all his prenatal tests with flying colors. I am feeling great, and have that burst of energy that comes with the end of the second and beginning of the third trimester. I am now excited to envision a nursery, and can begin to think about shopping for furniture - yea! Our "new house," if all continues to go well, is below. We are thrilled to have more than 1200 square feet, and I am excited to have a yard. I think I will try to do some gardening and planting. Fun things to look forward to.

Happy Day-After Easter To Me!!!

I came home from work today and my fantastic husband had washed all our Easter dishes! He even hand-washed all the stemware, and towel-dried them so thy don't have water spots! Am I lucky or what?! The BEST Easter present a woman could ask for. Thanks Marc. :)
