When I was driving back from Austin today I stopped along the highway to catch some pictures of the state flower of Texas. Think I'm crazy? Well, I wasn't alone. Every spring, families line the highways, tip-toeing through the medians, all risking their lives to capture a bluebonnet portrait of the kids. It's a Texas tradition. Some people will even tell you that it's illegal to pick a bluebonnet because it is the state flower, but that's actually not true. Thought I would share some pictures.
